Frank & Steve did the Rubicon, the Doozie and Shaver Lake (again).

Tim led the pre-run to Last Chance Canyon the last weekend in September.

Club secretary, Tim Cooper, has accepted a position in England so he will be leaving us shortly.  I will especially miss him since I was "voted" I was railroaded! in as his replacement.

The SBNF has announced the forest is closed because of the extreme fire danger.  This will remain in effect until the fire season is over.

The SBNFA will be holding the Clash of the Titans picnic for OHV and Adopt a Trail volunteers on October 19.  Please see Steve or Frank if you are interested in going.

Frank will be leading the club run to Last Chance Canyon the weekend of October 26.  Please contact Frank if you are interested in going.

This year's Thanksgiving club run will be in Truckhaven.  It will be Friday to Sunday.  Warren will cook our turkeys, but he needs a head count.  In addition to the turkeys, we will have a pot luck dinner.  Please respond to me how many people are coming with you and what the dinner dish is that you will be bringing.

The Simms have graciously agreed to open their home to us for the club's holiday party on December 7.  The club will provide turkey and ham, with the rest of us to provide a potluck dish.  Please respond to me with the head count and the dish you will bring.  We will also have a ($15.00) gift exchange.

Toys for Tots will be December 8 at the Block.  Bring a new unwrapped toy and decorate your rig for the occasion.

A representative from CORVA, Jim Arbogast, came to our meeting and spoke to us about the benefits of being politically active.  He provided us with reading materials and handouts.  If you would like more information on this group, please see Dale Davis.
