VISITORS AND GUESTS

PAST RUNS

-Last Chance was run in October.  The run report has already been posted on the website.

-Hump and Bump, Frank gave us an oral report at the meeting.  Apparently, he left out the most exciting part of the run, because I found out later he cracked a rib or two catching his rig as it was trying to get away from him.  If he writes a report, I will make sure it is posted to the website.

FUTURE RUNS

-Sunday, November 17th, we will be doing a club adopt-a-trail run in Big Bear.  The forest service has asked if the club would adopt three more trails that are essentially runoffs of our AAT White Mountain.  Come see our men in uniform (Frank and Steve) as we will be on official Forest Service business while inspecting these trails for our adoption.  Our Adopt-a-Trail coordinator, Lyle, has already sent out a message on the time and location to meet.  And by the tone of his message, you had better be prompt!  Since the forest was officially reopened on November 9th, we do not need to have Greg's approval.

-Thanksgiving as Truckhaven.  Most of us will be leaving Friday, the earlier the better to get in a half day run.  Frank will be providing me with directions on how to get there.  I will send them out to everybody that RSVPs.  Dinner will be on Saturday (late?) afternoon.  The club will supply the turkey, and the rest of us are to bring side dishes and deserts.  If you could, please let me know what you are bringing so I can coordinate.

-December 13th, Dale Davis will be leading a trail to Anza Borrego for the meteor showers.

FUTURE ACTIVITIES

-This year's holiday party is on December 7th at the home of Connie and Billy Sims.  The club will provide a turkey and a ham.  Those attending are to bring a side dish.  There will also be a gift exchange.  The gift should be in the $20 range.  Please specify male/female/other on the wrapping. -Toys for Tots parade is the next day, December 8th.  Those participating should arrive with your rigs festively decked out for the occasion at 8:30am at the Block at Orange.  Your participation fee is an unwrapped toy of at least $10.  The club voted to donate a couple of gift certificates to the raffle that will be held after the parade.
