Steve Bass led a run to Gold Mountain in Big Bear in May.  We all got to watch Warren crash and burn.  The plan was to run Gold Mountain, Holcomb Creek and Deep Creek.  Due to the above-mentioned technical difficulties, we never made it to Deep Creek.

Steve Bass and Greg Hoffman from the Forest Service led a working patrol on our adopt-a-trail White Mountain.  Some maintenance was performed, but the trail was already in pretty good shape.

The club summer trip will be to the Dusy the week of July 20th, with staggering departure dates.  Some are going as early as the 19th or 20th, and others are leaving the 23rd.  Call or write to Frank or me for details if you are interested.  Better yet, come to the July meeting for more information.

Warren is leading an alternate close-to-home summer club run to Los Coyotes.

Kids on Public Land (KPOL) is June 21 and 22.  Male drivers needed for Saturday, female drivers needed for Sunday.

Dues were due at the June meeting.  Please renew your membership as soon as you can.

Mel Wade has volunteered to be our new AAT liaison as Lyle is moving/has moved to AZ.  Goodbye Lyle and good luck.  He will write to me when he gets is computer back on line.
