This summer’s club trip was to the Dusy, where we did the Dusy-Ershim Trail.  Frank has already sent out his run report with all the gory and gruesome details-and that was just Damein’s mishaps.  Our Webmaster George has posted all the photos he was given and Frank burned a CD of photos as well.  The CDs were distributed at the meeting.

Warren led an alternate run to Big Bear with 2 prospective members.  They were totally impressed by the way he could drive his Land Cruiser through the trails on the receiving end of a tow strap.  Apparently he scared off one of his trail buddies, but Kevin Lam still came to our meeting.  We’re always glad to have guests.

8/9/03 Mel was leading a Sunday run at Los Coyotes.

8/16-17/03 Big Bear Bash: Frank and Steve, representing the OHV, patrolled the trails being run during this event.

8/22/03 Damein invited anyone interest to come up to Big Bear to camp for the weekend.

September – George is to lead John Bull and/or Miller Jeep Trail.  No date has been set as of this writing.

September – Warren will lead a Lockwood run.  No date has been set as of this writing.

The September meeting will be on September 3, 2003 at 7:00pm at the Hamburger Express.

The secretary would like to express her sincere apologies for the lateness (is that a word) of these minutes.  Several runs have already come and gone by the time this went out.  Hopefully you were paying attention at the meeting and got all the information you needed.  I will be out of town for the September meeting so you will be on your own.  You have been warned!  See you on the trails and/or at the October meeting.
