PAST RUNS
The club was very active this past month (good)!
Easter Week Frank, Steve and Mark went to the Easter Jeep Safari. They were gentle with Steve as it was his first time. Frank has already sent out his run report.
April 24 Efrain led a run on White Mountain and claims to have done a lot of work on it.
April 24 George led a run on Gold Mountain. Stock Land Rovers kept us from doing John Bull. The group moved on to Holcomb Creek.
April 30 Jack led a run somewhere in the CNF. Frank has already sent out his run report.
May 2 Adelaide led a run back on White Mountain and finished the work that Efrain couldn’t do. Action photos of Frank with a chainsaw were passed around at the meeting. George is going to post them on the website. Frank has already sent out my run report.
FUTURE RUNS
May 8 There was talk of a run through Azusa Canyon. I have no idea who to contact.
May 16 George wants to return to Rowher Flats. Please let George know if you are interested.
June 4-6 Adam will have a camping and offroading weekend in Big Bear. Let Adam know if you would like to go along.
July 10-11 Warren is going to Pismo. He recommends that you make reservations for camping if you plan on going.
August 7-8 George is planning a run to Lockwood Creek/Miller Jeep Trail.
September 2-6 George will lead the trek to and through the Rubicon.
October 2-3 Jack will lead a run to the Calico area.
November 6-7 Frank is planning a trip to Panamint.
November 25-28 is Thanksgiving at Truckhaven, our newest tradition. Thanksgiving potluck dinner is on Saturday night.
December 4 is the club Christmas Party at the Sims house. It is potluck and Connie will provide details on the menu.
December 5 is the Toys for Tots. Decorate your rig or not, join the parade. The club usually makes a donation for the cause.

FUTURE ACTIVITIES
Colorado, first week of August
NEW BUSINESS
Dues are due now. Members need to make a selection for an affiliation organization that promotes offroading.
CA4WD has asked us for assistance on a mapping project. Billy Sims has graciously volunteered to at least do a pre run this Saturday to see what it will entail. The area to be mapped is beyond Salton Sea. The club voted to reimburse Billy for his mileage.
Adam is our new Adopt A Trail liaison.
There is a proposal to make a change to our by laws. Warren will be sending it out to us for review. There will be a vote on it at the next club meeting.
There is another proposal on the way that will make a change to the communication equipment requirement for the club.
A motion was passed that the club will purchase 6 FRS radios and accessories for members’ use when on club runs.
Frank has asked for any body interested in being the Safety Inspection Dude. If you are interested, please speak up.
It was a long meeting this month, with several topics on the agenda. Our next meeting will include at least 2 by law changes to vote on. Come to the meeting and have your vote counted!!!
