Adam led a weekend camp out.  Saturday was White Mountain and Holcomb Creek.  Sunday Steve led us through Gold Mountain.

Warren did a run at Pismo.

George ran Rowher Flats.

Frank did an unannounced trip to the Rubicon with the Jeepers Jamboree.

The club’s annual big trip will be to the Rubicon.  Frank is leaving August 21 and is doing some side trips beforehand.  The actual Rubicon trip will start August 27.  Adam is leaving Thursday.

Adam is leading a run in Azusa on August 15.  He’s calling it his “practice for the Rubicon

You can’t say that you didn’t get enough advance notice!!!

Colorado, first week ofAugust.

Although nothing came up at the meeting (I had a senior moment), the club owes Frank 6 AA batteries.  On our camping trip, our treasurer who is also the keeper of the FMRS radios could not make it at the last minute.  Luckily, the always-prepared secretary (me) had two radios, but no batteries.  Okay so I’m not perfect.  Frank’s batteries and my radios saved the day.

One more item of note: Paul, who was on the same above mentioned trip, wanted to thank everybody on the trail for making his first OC4Play experience a very good.
