New Year’s Eve on the Hammers: Frank, Mark and Cal spent a wonderful day in the high desert on the hammers.  Frank has a photo of him on his side to prove it.

New Year’s Day in Big Bear: Warren lead a trip up the back way from Hesperia to Big Bear via Bowens Ranch Road.  It was a beautiful trip, considering we have snow and all.  Thanks to Frank and Mark who made nice wide strikes so that my puny Wrangler could get through.  Bill Nowlen also appreciates the effort.

-Not sure of the date: Mike Hewitt was stranded at Shaver Lake.  Lots of snow was involved.

-Chris Baisz (who?) did a run at Ocotillo Wells.  Was a witness to the total trashing of a paper plate Chevy Tahoe?

-January 15 & 16: Come see the splendor that is the Butterflies at Pismo.  Please note the change of date.

-February 5 & 6: Stoddard Valley, led by Larry Clay

-March 18-26: Moab and the Easter Jeep Safari

-April 15-17: Mojave Road

New bylaws change proposal to be voted on at the next meeting: All officers are required to belong to our Yahoo Groups.  Obviously, I am, so who could that possibly refer to???  Huh, Warren !
