VISITORS AND GUESTS

Tim and June

PAST RUNS

George talked about the club run to White Mountain and told about Chris parking in his favorite place on Cal 3 wheel and an overall fun time.

George then talked about a second outing on White Mountain with Addie and the forestry service group, for a certification run.  Sounded like another fun time.

Erik, that's me, also told about his trip to Moab.  A week in paradise if you will.  Trails completed included Steel Bender, Metal Masher, Poison Spider Mesa, Golden Spike, Gold Bar Rim, Hells Revenge, Cane Creek, and a night run on Fins 'n Things.

FUTURE RUNS

For upcoming runs, well, let's just say,"Keep those erasers handy."  So here it goes, the current plan (subject to change at any time with little or no notice, that's just how we roll.)

May 30, Gold Mountain and John Bull trails in Big Bear.  I think George is in charge for this one.

July 18, Miller/Lockwood Jeep Trail.  Not sure who is in charge, but I might could be.

July 31 to August 2, Rubicon

October 24 and 25, Panamit Mountains

FUTURE ACTIVITIES

June 6, Welding class at Erik's.  Send me a note if you need directions, address, etc.  Also, new this year, there will be secured, monitored parking for motorcycles, possibly seperated from the rest of the event by concrete if necessary.  Please let me know if I should look into getting traffic control personnel for this function as well, I have a neighbor who is an officer of the law that may be willing to help.  Party favors are looking great, thanks Chris!

NEW BUSINESS

MISC COMMENTS AND DISCUSSIONS

In attendence were Warren, Chris and Sharron, George, Erik, and a new couple (who have 3 Jeeps, but because I can't remember names, will have to be included as the new couple, sorry, maybe I'll do better next time).

After spending some time in the lobby, kind of a new deal to not have the room to ourselves, we got down to busniess.  We first discussed past runs.

In other subjects, there is interest in changing the meeting date from the second Wednesday, so George and Addie can attend the Forestry service meeting.  We would like to discuss other days at the next meeting, please bring your suggestions.

Also, the topic of location for the meeting was raised again.  We have been through the menu and we haven't been in our quiet, private room in the last two months.

With that we adjourned the meeting and told tall tales about those who didn't make it.  Well, we told some stories at least, but it is no fun to talk about you if you're not there, so that probably didn't happen much.  Hope to see you at the next meeting or one of the events on our rather full calendar.

Erik
