What do you get when you have a 4x4 and it's a beautiful day?  Time for a run up to our adopt a trail, White Mountain.  We all met at Denny's for breakfast at 7:00am.  There were a total of seven vehicles that showed up: a Datsun, Ford, CJ7, and four TJs a red one, a good-looking one, a stock one, and the lowest geared one.

We left Denny's around 8:15am, and headed to the new Discovery Center (some of us wanted to buy Adventure Passes).  After our brief stop at the Discovery Center we aired down in Fawnskin, and started our way to the trailhead.  On the way we picked up a visitor Ken Hunter that drove all the way from Lake Arrowhead to join us in his 93' Cherokee.  We got to the trailhead at 11:15am and started up White Mountain.  Along the way we were taking pink ribbons off the trees and bushes that some one or group left behind.  After all it was our clean up run.  We did the entire trail, some of us experienced trouble.

Everyone with a Jeep made it look easy.  Either the trail has gotten easier or the Jeeps have got a lot better equipped, I think better equipped.  As a matter of fact, the stock TJ operated by Mark Colby made every obstacle White Mountain had to offer.  We got to the end of the trail at 4:30pm.  Most everyone headed home, the brave continued and headed to John Bull.  Dave Christian in his CJ7, me in my TJ, and Roger in his Datsun pickup.  John Bull was a lot of fun, we finished around 7:00pm and then headed home another day of fun on the trail.
