Return to Run Report List
Only myself, Paul, and Steve showed up for the run. We met up with
a few
guys from MJR that were planning to be there anyways, and wheeled with
them. Great guys. We went up Odessa and turne dback around at the mines
after hearing West Coast, aka Steve Friend :D, grenaded a driveshaft. We
circled back around and I gave the Doran gatekeeper a go. Scared off
everyone else. Paul saved the day by bringing me up a spare at the top
so I could get back to camp. My total was 2 X Terrains, a wheel, tail
light, CB antenna, the bracket ripped out of the tub, the license plate
and frame/bracket, and i lost some paint on every panel. made it up
though!

Had a good time, scenery was amazing. I'll be headed out hopefully the
last of the month for a trip with another group, gonna give it another
go. Then the Hammers Rookie Run (may 7, warren?), then Cougar Buttes,
then the club Big Bear group run (May 20-22). Let me know if you're
interested in any of the runs and I'll check with the groups. Cougar
Buttes is open to all, either May 14-15 (just before Big Bear) or May
28/29 (just after Big Bear). Kinda depends. CB is open to literally
everyone, all sorts of terrain, and hopefully those into it will be able
to run the new trail, Ball Buster. WOO HOO!
